School Administration

The school has a centralized administration led by School Director Musa Farah.


Musa M. Farah, Director: Musa has been with Ubah Medical Academy since the fall of 2007 as a Co-Director.  He has a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Somalia and a M.S. in Applied Mathematics from Howard University in Washington D.C.  His previous education experience includes teaching and administration in the Department of Education in Somalia, working in the actuarial department of Travelers Insurance,Photo of Musa M. Farah teaching mathematics courses in the United Arab Emirates University in Al Ain, teaching mathematics courses and coaching at Mill Brook High School in Upstate New York.

Patrick Exner, Associate Director: comes to us from the West Metro Education District where he was the Director of Teaching and Learning.  Patrick has a B.A. in English from the University of St.Photo of Musa M. Farah Thomas, a Masters in Curriculum Design and his k-12 Principal license from Saint Mary’s University.  Patrick’s education experience includes:

High School English Teacher: Robbinsdale Cooper High School Ninth Grade School Administrator: Robbinsdale Cooper High School   Adjunct Professor in School of Education: Saint Mary’s University and University of Saint Thomas Director of Teaching and Learning: West Metro Education Program.

Jackie Oss, Counselor: In the fall of 2006 Jackie Oss joined Ubah Medical Academy as their very first Counselor.Photo of Musa M. Farah  Jackie is originally from North Dakota.  She received her undergraduate degree from Minot State University and her Master’s Degree from Northern State University in South Dakota.  Jackie brings a vast array of experience in education and counseling to our students at Ubah.  She has experience teaching and counseling at all levels, K-12 plus college.

Jackie heads the Ubah Medical Academy Counseling Center and is available to work with students and their parents providing guidance on a variety of issues; including personal issues, academic concerns, scheduling, credit evaluations, graduation progress, college and career planning, ACT registration, transitioning from high school to college, and much more.  She works closely with teachers and parents to help students achieve their goals.
