Ubah Medical Academy works with partners and community members to offer support and unique opportunities to our students to help them achieve excellence.

Charter Authorizer

Ubah Medical Academy is authorized by Concordia University, Saint Paul.  As an authorizer, Concordia University, SaintPaul, is responsible for overseeing the operations of the school’s board of directors.  Should you have questions about Concordia’s role or its oversight of Ubah Medical Academy please contact: 

Education Partners

Twin Cities International Elementary School: is an elementary school that shares Ubah's commitment to providing a rigorous American education for students from a primarily East-African background in a culturally sensitive environment. Many of our students have family members that attend Twin Cities International Elementary School.

Minnesota International Middle School: is a middle school that seeks to prepare students for successful and productive lives as United States citizens while allowing them to retain their unique cultural heritage. Many of our students have family members that attend Minnesota International Middle School.

International Education Center: Is a partnership between Ubah Medical Academy, Minnesota International Middle School and Twin Cities International Elementary School that collaborates on curriculum, staff development and resources.

College Preparation Partners

Admission Possible: Admission Possible is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping promising, low-income young people prepare for and earn admission to college.

College in the Schools: delivers regular University of Minnesota credit courses to high-achieving high school students right at Ubah Medical Academy. 

PACE (Preparing to Achieve a College Education): is a Century College initiative that offers students the opportunity to take college classes for free and earn college credits while still in high school.
