School Board Election

Term of Office:

 Two community members ~ July 1, 2026-June 30, 2029

Currently meeting monthly, August - June

Usually the second (2^nd) Friday at 3:00pm

Individuals Eligible:

Teachers, school staff, including parents ,guardians and  community members

Nomination Process:

Nominations may be made by self-nomination or by nominating another eligible individual. All eligible candidates must submit a completed self-nomination form. Nomination forms are available in the Ubah Academy school office and will also be mailed to parents and guardians.

Nominations will be accepted beginning February 25, 2026 and will close at 3:00pm on March 30, 2026.  Nominations may be submitted by mail, fax, or in person.

Election Process:

A copy of the School Board Election Procedures is posted in Ubah's main office and on the school's website.

Voting Date:

Thursday, April 23, 2026

Time: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (during parent-teacher conferences).

Voting Method:

Paper Ballot can be mailed or dropped off at the school, April 1 - April 23, 2026 from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Stakeholders can also vote in person on the election day.  Voting is to be in the presence of election judges.

Board of Directors candidates may attend the meeting where they will introduce themselves and give a nomination statement (articulating their reason for running). 

Eligible Voters:

All citizens of the school community; i.e. staff, parents, and guardians of Ubah High School students
